Biography

Linda Gutterman is an Adjunct Professor in the Instructional Technology Masters Program at Touro College.  She has extensive experience integrating technology into the curriculum.  She graduated from Hunter College in the Bronx with a BA and has an MA in education from Lehman College as well as a certificate in Instructional Technology Integration.  She holds the following licenses: K-6 teacher NYS, Administration and Supervision – NYS, Principal K-8.  During her tenure with the Department of Education she served in the following capacities – classroom teacher, District Technology Coordinator District 12 and 6, Lead Instructional Technology Specialist Region 9.

She coordinated and ran the first laptop program in New York City in conjunction with Microsoft.  This program won an award as a US Department of Education spotlight program and was presented in Washington, D.C. She has presented at numerous conferences including Microsoft in Education, ASCD (association for supervision and curriculum), NECC (National Educational Commuting Conference), and ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education). She has also worked as an adjunct for Adelphi University and coordinated an education program for the Anti-Defamation League that won top awards.  She has been working at Touro College since 2003.
